An Afternoon at The Vordun Museum and Gallery
Since I’ve made a few trips to Fancy Decor recently (see posts here and here), I thought I would pay another visit to the Vordun Museum and Gallery, a fantastic art experience put together by Fancy Decor owner, Jake Vordun. The Vordun replicates a real-life museum experience in charming detail, all the way down to the audio headsets handed out at the front desk by a docent. I spent a peaceful afternoon listening to the piped in classical music and taking in some beautiful and provocative art.
In addition to the main gallery of European Masters, current exhibits include The Arcade photo contest winners, a collection of postcards from around the world, and the art of Second Life resident and creator, Mikel Monk.
If you are an art aficionado or just appreciate the amazing experiences our residents create from their own passions, plan to visit The Vordun soon. And don’t forget to visit the gift shop before you leave and take home a piece of art for your own home.
